Understanding the Pre- Enrollment Process
Q. How does the Pre-Enrollment Process work?
A. In general, the process looks like this.
- The Employer Group ("Group") will submit their completed RFC and Final Census
- Champion Health disseminates the Enrollment Introduction email to the Group's Plan Administrator and agent/producer on file ("Agent".)
- Champion Health will remit Plan Docs and Enrollment Materials to the Group's Plan Administrator and Agent.
- Upon review and signage of Plan Docs by the Group, Open Enrollment will commence approximately 5 business days later and will continue for approximately 2 weeks.
- Champion Health will collaborate with the Group's Plan Administrator and Agent to schedule a TPA call for the payroll implementation aspect of The CHAMP Plan™. The TPA will generally process a pre-note to ensure accounting/billing information is viable a minimum of 3 days prior to Open Enrollment.
- Champion Health will follow up with the Group to ensure they are ready for go-live and that all outstanding action items have been completed.
- Once payroll deductions are placed, benefits are active!
