Q: For individuals that do not complete their monthly assignments, what steps are being taken to address that or remove them from the plan? We know of one employee that noted he would not be completing those and he is aware that he will eventually fall off.
A: Compliance measures are all handled on the back end. There are quite a few measures and fail-safes in place to ensure employees maintain compliance without losing their benefits. There are multiple ways to engage the employee outside of the monthly activities including, using the benefits, prescription refills, in-office care, and virtual primary care.
Should there ever be a case where an employee refuses to engage and is non-compliant, we would advise the employer group of the matter in writing to remove deductions/tools in payroll and provide notification of the plan's cancelation for that particular employee.
Our hope is that this will not become the case, and we could encourage our members to participate and engage to prevent the loss of these wonderful benefits.
