Are all prescriptions covered?

We cover about 200 prescriptions - 95 of them are covered completely, and about 100 are covered at $1. If we do not cover the prescription you are looking for, we can generally get it at a much lower cost by using our prescription discount card.

In the app, you will navigate to the tile that says “Prescriptions.” When you click on that, you’ll be able to type in the prescription you’re looking for and find a pharmacy close by to get it filled! 

Note: Prescriptions must be written precisely in accordance with the formulary guidelines in order to be covered. Strength (Mg, ml, etc.) and quantity must match the formulary provided or it will not be covered. Prescriptions used to treat acute conditions are covered at $0 with unlimited frequency or scripts per member. Prescriptions used to treat chronic conditions are covered at $1 and are limited to 12 total scripts in any combination per member. Please note that prescriptions may be fulfilled by mail or in person.
